5 Reasons Why You Should Stop Chasing Dream Job

In this post, I would like to share with You that chasing a “dream job” is not giving you freedom, both financially and geographically. In other words, no matter what you do for a living, you still trade Your time working for someone else.

If your job position is a nurse, it´s normal to work long hours in health care in order to pay bills. If your job is an engineer, you´re still an employee because you work for someone else as well. The more you earn, the more tax you pay.

Nowadays, everybody needs to take loans if they won’t buy an apartment or a house. That´s why people struggle in life, thinking that there is how the old system thought them to do so.

There´s no rich employee unless he had his own business. Educate yourself in a business rather than a full-time job!

Today, most people were spending way to much time in their jobs relative to what they got/get paid, and what´s happening in the world right now is an eye-opener for many.

For most of us, a situation like “Rat Race” is a situation in which one day we wake up and feel as if we´re trapped by our circumstances.

It´s frustrating, a hard-to-break lifestyle that usually forces us to stay in jobs we don´t always enjoy due to the variety of financial obligations hanging over us: groceries, rent, bills and so much more.

Regarding the Rat Race, the question is: “Is this Your Biggest Fear?” Wake up, eat breakfast, drive to work through traffic, work hard building else´s business, drive home, count the days until Friday, repeat for 40 years?

Think about what you want to do with your life and take a step back and find out yourself on the right path.

Now, I have put together five reasons to stop wasting your time searching for a dream job instead of working 9-5:

  1. The money will never be enough
Life requires money, your clothes will wear out, your house has to be paid for and your food will run out. You can´t get enough, you´ll never have enough, but you´ll always want more.
  2. More time for traveling, family, and friends
So while money can´t buy you happiness, spending time with loved ones, is always a good investment.
  3. You can control your life
So many people live the life they have to live. That said, they do what is told: wake up, eat, go to work, come back home late in the evening and there is no much energy and time left. Then the process repeats. You can have a better life, live life on your own terms!
  4. The concept of a dream job is an illusion
Do you have a passion in your work? A “regular” job used to be all you needed in life. Perhaps you think that you have to work hard and trade your entire day in return for a monthly salary. But, at the end of the day, your real dream is not an employer´s happiness.
  5. The perfect job will not make you happier
I usually get questions like: “How´s your job” “Why don´t you study or get a better position e.g. team leader and get a “better job?”. The truth is, there is no perfect job because you still work for money.

As we live in the 21st century and spend time on social media, use it to make money online.

Remember, chasing a dream job refers to the traditional economy most people still live – in other words, they live the life they think they have to live – overworked, stressed and unfulfilled.

In this post, I want to show people in transition from reliance on their current job or occupation to a life of control and freedom.
