How To Stop Caring And Start Living A Life You Love While Starting A New Business
Why should you even care a lot what other people think? Don’t worry, it’s human.
Now, let me show you a few examples:
What if some people like my friends and family will see my topic of conversation on my latest post on social media?
What if some people will judge my decision in changing a career at this point in my life?
What would other people think of me if I fail?
How does this kind of thinking describe me and say about me?
Let’s be clear. People use to think along these lines daily, and it should stop because it’s frustrating, annoying and it’s ruining our lives and your life as a reader. After all, the reason why you’re here, reading this post, you know that you’re sick of what people think.
There are great news!🧚♂️💡😉
Yes, you can stop thinking about how 99% of your surrounding think. By that means, both about your current job and your loved ones. Don’t get me wrong, but ask yourself how many times have you heard a question like: ”When you’ll get married? When you’ll have kids?” Just because other people do so, they think that you should do so.
Well, it is your life – your decision. Let them think what they want to think. Their thinking doesn’t have nothing to do with you.
”I’m sorry, but your opinion and your thoughts of me doesn’t define the kind of person I am.”Quote from Pinterest
But…please don’t take this as easy thing. It takes effort, but it pays off.
HOW I OVERCAME THINKING AND CARING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK?
We all live our daily lives, working day in day out, seeing the world from our own perspective. That means we spend a lot of time if anyone judges us. E.g. ”I think that you’re a good employee, but we just found someone with more work experience..” Do you see the problem here?
There is no employer, mom, dad, sister or brother, friend, or relative that can describe you as a person. They have a completely different picture of you and thinking.
I realized that by myself. I have been surrounded by people who care too much about what other people think so they always tried to ”fit in society”. For E.g. If they said I should go to college, get a title degree, and live a better life – I respect that, but that’s not how it works in the real life.
If you find yourself in a millennial generation, 20-ties or 30-ties…and you´ll continue to rely on the employer, trust the government…please don´t make your life hard. Trust yourself and use the Internet to save yourself before it´s late.
So, I researched the Internet and found out that I need to get over that thinking, change my mind, and start about new opportunities. I found a famous and successful entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki that stated: A job stands for ”Job Over Broke”.
Have you seen this meme before? In today´s new world, during pandemics…if you stay in a job position, you´re gonna stay in the same circle. By that means, there is a way out!
Sick Of Your J.O.B. Yet?
Every job is designed to keep you dependent. Dependent on your boss, stay tied in one city, one country surrounded with the same people… Listen, whether you’re in 20-ties or 30-ties…change of thinking and stop caring what other people think is crucial.
Life is much easier when you take control of your mind, time and life.
Perhaps you don’t believe it yet and that’s okay.
Here are the ways which might help you matters clear:
1. Stop Overthinking
For instance, how do you start a day? Wake up at 05.00 AM, look yourself in the mirror and you´re thinking what should you wear to look good if you want to fit in society. The truth is..you don´t need to overthink what other people will say about your look, because it´s only you who can describe your good looking.
2. Let Go Of Perfection
You have probably heard that no one is perfect. Sometimes it´s hard to admit that if you just get things right, you will be loved and admired. Perfection is an illusion, and what people think about you is their business, not yours.
3. Get To Know Yourself More
What do you really want? What is that you like most? If you have experienced how many people use to judge each other in school or at a job…allow yourself to think differently and wonder, “What if I wouldn´t worried so much about being judged?”
4. Decide What Matters To You
I totally understand, it can be hard to stand out, speak out, and take a risk or face disapproval. But decide what matters to you, trust yourself and go for it. Most people grow playing it safe. You can be better than others, and grow by allowing yourself a chance to fail.
5. Find Your Team
Don´t waste your time trying to hang on to those who expect you to conform to their desires and wishes. Be authentic.
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we´re supposed to be and embracing who we are.“- by Bene Brown
Somewhere out there are people who appreciate you for who you really are.
Let me tell you one thing. We have learned how to live the life we live today. Everyone is trying to fit in a society that wants us to do what others say to do. Some have the courage to be different, some don´t have it.
Courage is contagious. Every time we choose courage, we make everyone around us a little better and the world a little braver.
